Waydoo Flyer ONE Remote Control Replacement Trigger
The Waydoo Flyer ONE Remote Control Replacement Trigger is a replacement throttle trigger for the handheld remote used with the original Waydoo Flyer ONE eFoil. It is a useful service part if your existing trigger has become damaged, sticky, worn or no longer returns smoothly.
Rather than replacing the complete remote control, this allows the trigger mechanism itself to be replaced, making it a considerably more economical repair where the rest of the controller is functioning correctly.
Who is this replacement trigger for?
This part is intended for riders maintaining an earlier-generation Waydoo Flyer ONE remote control. The same trigger design is also used with Flyer ONE Plus remotes, but with older Waydoo equipment we always recommend checking your remote before ordering if there is any doubt.
If you are unsure which generation of Waydoo remote you own, please send us a clear photograph of the controller and we can help confirm compatibility.

Fitting the replacement trigger
The trigger is a replaceable component within the remote. Installation requires the remote housing around the trigger mechanism to be opened, the original trigger removed and the replacement fitted in its place.
Before fitting a new trigger, it is worth checking the existing mechanism for sand, salt or other debris. Contamination around the trigger can sometimes cause it to bind or return slowly even when the trigger itself is undamaged.
When opening the remote, work carefully and retain all original screws and components. Make sure the trigger and spring operate freely before reassembling the controller, and ensure the remote housing and seals are correctly seated before returning it to use on the water.
Compatibility
- Waydoo Flyer ONE: Yes
- Waydoo Flyer ONE Plus: Compatible with the corresponding earlier-generation remote trigger assembly
- Waydoo Flyer EVO: No – the EVO uses a different remote control system
- Waydoo FoilBoost: No – this is not a FoilBoost remote trigger
Please note: this listing is for the replacement trigger component only. It is not a complete Waydoo remote control.

Will this fit my Waydoo Flyer ONE remote?Yes. This is intended as a replacement trigger for the original Waydoo Flyer ONE handheld remote control.
Does it fit the Waydoo Flyer ONE Plus? The trigger is also used with compatible Flyer ONE Plus remote assemblies. As there have been different generations of Waydoo equipment, send us a photograph of your remote if you would like us to confirm the part before ordering.
Does the replacement include a complete remote? No. This is the trigger and associated spring only. The remote control, housing, display, electronics, charging equipment and other components are not included.
My trigger is sticking – do I definitely need a new one?Not necessarily. Sand, salt and debris can collect around the trigger mechanism and cause restricted movement. Check and carefully clean the mechanism first. If the trigger or spring is damaged, corroded or worn, replacement is the sensible next step.
Can The SUP Company help identify my Waydoo spare part?Yes. If you are unsure which part you need, send us a photograph of the remote or component along with the model of your Waydoo eFoil and we will help identify the correct replacement wherever possible.
