Beschreibung

The Eleveight CS Vary V4 Plus Bar is Eleveight’s premium four-line control system, combining a clean low-V setup, single-front-line safety and the Quick-Matic II click-in release with adjustable bar width. It is a particularly good choice if you run several Eleveight kite sizes and want one dependable bar system across your quiver.

Compared with older or more basic control systems, the V4 Plus feels noticeably tidier through the centre of the bar. The TPU-covered depower line reduces friction and wear, while the high-quality 22m flying lines give the direct steering response you want from performance freeride, Big Air and freestyle kites.

Why choose the Eleveight CS Vary V4 Plus?

  • Adjustable bar width – change the steering response to suit different kite sizes without needing a separate bar for every kite.
  • Quick-Matic II release – designed for simple activation and straightforward click-in reassembly.
  • Single-front-line flag-out – allows the kite to depower onto one front line when the safety is activated.
  • TPU-covered depower line – reduces friction through the centre of the bar and helps protect the underlying Spectra line.
  • 22m thermo-coated flying lines – low-stretch, high-precision lines for direct kite feedback.
  • Low-V configuration – the correct setup for Eleveight kites designed around the CS control system.
  • Integrated rear-line adjustment – allows you to fine-tune the back-line setup at the bar ends.
  • EVA grip and protected bar ends – comfortable in the hands while providing additional protection around the bar ends.

Small or Large?

The CS Vary system allows the effective bar width to be changed at the integrated bar ends. This is useful if you have more than one kite because a narrower setting slows the steering response while a wider bar provides greater leverage and faster kite turning.

Size Bar width Recommended kite sizes
Small 42–50cm Approximately 4–10m
Large 47–55cm Approximately 8–17m

There is deliberately some overlap between the two sizes. For example, riders using an 8m, 9m or 10m can choose according to the steering feel they prefer and the other kite sizes in their quiver. If you predominantly ride smaller, faster kites we would normally choose the Small. For a quiver based around larger freeride kites, the Large generally makes more sense.

Which Eleveight kites does it suit?

The CS Vary V4 Plus was designed around Eleveight’s four-line kite range and makes an excellent replacement or additional bar for compatible Eleveight kites.

It is a natural match for the versatile Eleveight RS V6, the progression-focused Eleveight PS V6 and the performance Big Air Eleveight XS V4. You can also browse our full Eleveight range if you are building a complete setup.

If you intend to use the bar with a kite from another manufacturer, do not assume compatibility simply because it uses four lines. Kite bars can differ in line lengths, high-V/low-V configuration, pigtail orientation and safety design. Contact us first and we can help you check the setup.

Our buying advice

If you already have an Eleveight kite but your existing bar is becoming worn, replacing the complete control system can be a much better option than continuing to replace individual high-wear components. Lines, depower systems and safety releases are all parts we would rather have working properly than simply looking acceptable.

The adjustable width is also genuinely useful rather than just a specification-sheet feature. A rider with, for example, smaller strong-wind kites and a mid-sized freeride kite can alter the bar width rather than carrying several almost identical bars.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Small and Large CS Vary bar?

The Small adjusts between 42 and 50cm and is primarily aimed at smaller kites. The Large adjusts between 47 and 55cm and is better suited to larger kites. There is an intentional overlap, so riders around the middle of the kite-size range can choose according to their preferred steering speed and overall quiver.

How long are the flying lines?

The CS Vary V4 Plus uses 22m flying lines on both the Small and Large versions.

Does the bar have a single-line safety system?

Yes. The V4 Plus uses a single-front-line flag-out safety system. Activating the quick release allows the kite to depower onto one front line while the rider remains connected through the safety leash.

What is Quick-Matic II?

Quick-Matic II is Eleveight's click-in quick-release system. It is designed to be straightforward to activate and easier to reconnect than traditional systems, particularly when you need to reset the bar on the water.

Can I use this bar with a non-Eleveight kite?

Potentially, but compatibility needs to be checked rather than assumed. The kite must be suitable for the bar's four-line, low-V configuration and single-front-line safety system, with compatible line lengths and connections. Speak to us before mixing control systems between brands.

Can one CS Vary bar cover my whole kite quiver?

For many Eleveight riders, yes. The adjustable bar ends allow you to alter steering leverage for different kite sizes. If your quiver stretches from very small storm kites through to particularly large light-wind kites, two bar sizes may still be preferable.
