Duotone Stash Parawing - 2027
Beschreibung
The Duotone Stash Parawing represents a significant shift in how we approach downwind paddling and light-wind cruising. Designed for those who want to harness the power of the wind without the bulk of a traditional wing, the Stash is a compact, foldable parawing that fits into a tiny pack. It is the perfect choice for SUP foilers and prone foilers who want to "cheat" the paddle out to the line-up or connect long downwind bumps with minimal equipment interference.
Positioning in the Duotone Range
The Stash is not a replacement for the Unit or the Slick; rather, it is a specialized tool for the "pure" foiler. While traditional wings stay inflated and rigid, the Stash is a soft-wing design that can be easily stowed once you are on the foil. It sits in a category of its own—offering a way to get moving in wind speeds that would be frustrating to paddle in, yet disappearing completely once you are flying. If your goal is to maximize your time on the foil during downwinders or to simplify your gear setup for travel, the Stash is your best option.
Why Choose the 2026 Stash?
- Ultimate Portability: The Stash folds down to the size of a small water bottle, easily fitting into a waist pack or the pocket of your buoyancy aid.
- Effortless Launches: Designed to be launched from a seated or kneeling position, making it accessible even on narrow downwind boards.
- Zero Drag: Once you are on the foil and have caught the energy of the ocean, the Stash can be collapsed, eliminating the aerodynamic drag associated with held wings.
- Extended Sessions: It removes the "taxing" part of downwinding—the long paddle out or the struggle to catch the first bump—saving your energy for the ride.

Helpful Reading & Buying Advice
The Parawing technique is different from traditional winging. We recommend reading our Introduction to Parawing Foiling to understand the launch and stowage process. You can also see the Stash in action at our Lymington Test Centre.
Do I need a pump for the Duotone Stash? No. The Stash is a non-inflatable parawing. It relies on ram-air technology to create its wing shape, meaning you can leave the pump at home and carry significantly less weight.
Can I use the Stash for regular wing foiling? While possible, it is not designed for it. The Stash lacks the rigid frame needed for upwind performance and jumping. It is specifically designed as a "propulsion aid" for catching bumps and downwinding.
Is it difficult to pack away while foiling? It takes practice, but the Stash is designed to be collapsed in seconds. Most riders either stuff it into a waist bag or a specialized chest harness once they have sufficient board speed to stay on the foil.
