The Duotone Glide 2.0 D/LAB is the premium version of Duotone’s new Glide platform, built for riders who want the most efficient, refined and responsive feel possible from a front wing. If your priority is getting up early, carrying speed through pumps, and linking longer sections without the foil feeling locked-in or overly technical, this is exactly where the Glide 2.0 D/LAB makes sense.

It is a front wing aimed at experienced riders across wing foiling, prone foiling, SUP downwind and foil assist. Compared with older glide-focused foils, it offers a better balance of easy lift, low drag and real manoeuvrability, so you get that “free speed” feeling without giving up confidence at lower speeds.

Where the Glide 2.0 D/LAB Sits in the Range

Within the Duotone lineup, the Glide 2.0 D/LAB sits above the Glide 2.0 SLS. Both share the same shape and sizing, but the D/LAB uses Duotone’s premium carbon Semi-Glider construction for less weight, less drag and a more direct, more polished ride feel. If you want the Glide character at a lower price point, the SLS is the sensible option. If you want the best-performing version of that same concept, this is the one to choose.

It also sits in a very useful middle ground in the wider foil range. It is more versatile and more forgiving day to day than a dedicated pure-efficiency foil like the Hyperglide D/LAB, but it is more pump and glide focused than a surf-led front wing like the Crest D/LAB. For many riders, that makes it one of the smartest premium choices in the whole Duotone foil family.

Why Choose the Duotone Glide 2.0 D/LAB

  • Earlier take-offs with less effort so you are not constantly working to get flying.
  • More glide between pumps which makes longer links and flatter sections feel far easier.
  • Strong efficiency for its size, giving the lift feel of a bigger foil without the same drag penalty.
  • Cleaner turning than many high-aspect foils, so it still feels enjoyable rather than purely functional.
  • Premium D/LAB construction for riders who want the lightest, crispest and most refined feel available from this platform.
  • Multi-discipline versatility across wing, prone, SUP downwind and foil assist setups.

Size Guidance

All three sizes share the same basic character, but they serve slightly different riders and conditions:

  • 620 – the fastest, loosest-feeling option for lighter riders or stronger wind and more powered riding.
  • 750 – the sweet spot for many experienced riders wanting a brilliant mix of speed, lift and versatility.
  • 900 – the easiest size in the range for earlier lift, more support and more forgiving lower-speed performance.

Is the Glide 2.0 D/LAB worth the extra over the Glide 2.0 SLS?

If you are a more experienced rider and you really value lower weight, reduced drag and a more refined feel, yes. The SLS is still an excellent foil, but the D/LAB is the cleaner, lighter and more performance-driven version.

Which size should I choose?

As a guide, the 620 suits lighter riders or stronger, more powered conditions, the 750 is the best all-round performance size for many experienced riders, and the 900 is the easiest for earlier lift and more support. If you are unsure, we are always happy to help narrow it down based on your weight, board, local conditions and riding style.

Is this foil only for downwind riding?

No. It is particularly strong when glide and pump matter, but it is also a very smart choice for wing foiling, foil assist and prone setups where you want a front wing that carries speed well without feeling too specialist.

What rear stabiliser works best with it?

For most riders, the Stabilizer H is the natural pairing because it keeps the whole setup efficient and balanced. If your riding is more wave focused, the Stabilizer S can make sense, while the Stabilizer P is the better fit for riders chasing a faster, more speed-oriented feel.

Is this a complete foil setup?

No. This product is the front wing only. You will also need the appropriate tail/stabiliser, mast and compatible foil hardware to complete your setup.
