Redesigned for 2025 by Finn and Jeffrey Spencer, the updated Downwinder SLS shapes are fine-tuned for improved glide and take-off efficiency, while maintaining compact dimensions and exceptional stability. Ideal for SUP Downwinders in smaller, steeper bumps or light wind Wing Foiling, the new models are two inches longer and half an inch narrower than previous versions, delivering quick acceleration and effortless glide for both beginners and advanced riders.

The Downwinder SLS features a low rocker and sleek pin tail, allowing for the earliest take-offs. Its clean bottom contours, with a single concave entry, ensure smooth touchdowns, while the pronounced rail bevels and hard edges in the rear half provide excellent release and stability. The slightly recessed deck enhances your connection to the foil, and the longer carbon foil tracks offer adjustability for different foil types, all while reducing weight.

Available in three dedicated shapes—compact 7’0’’ x 19.5’’ (95 litres), versatile 7’6’’ x 20.5’’ (115 litres), and stable 8’0’’ x 22’’ (135 litres)—the Downwinder SLS caters to a range of rider preferences. Built with our lightweight Carbon Custom Sandwich technology, it offers the perfect balance of stability and performance for fast progression, making it ideal for SUP Downwinders in smaller bumps and Wing Foiling in light winds.
